They are seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow existing customer relationships and develop new business opportunities across targeted manufacturing industries in the United States.ResponsibilitiesManage and grow existing customer accounts within assigned industries and territoriesDevelop new business opportunities with prospective customers and strategic target accountsBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunitiesDevelop long-term customer relationships across engineering, operations, manufacturing, and executive leadership teamsIdentify customer manufacturing challenges and position Samuel Automation solutions accordinglyCollaborate closely with Applications Engineering, Service, and Leadership teamsMaintain accurate CRM data, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and pipeline visibilityParticipate in customer visits, technical discussions, trade shows, and industry eventsSupport proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contract discussionsDrive opportunities from initial engagement through quotation, negotiation, and order closureSupport customer handoff to project execution teams while maintaining ongoing customer engagement after order placementEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account developmentProvide feedback on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needsRepresent Samuel Automation professionally within the marketplace and position the company as a trusted long-term automation partnerSkills5+ years of experience in automation, machinery, engineered systems, or capital equipment salesStrong B2B sales background with experience managing complex technical sales cyclesExperience working with machine builders, automation integrators, or industrial manufacturing customersProven track record of growing existing accounts and developing new business opportunitiesExperience managing high-value opportunities with long sales cyclesStrong commercial and negotiation skillsCRM experience and disciplined pipeline managementStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to engage both technical and executive-level stakeholdersAbility to travel throughout the United States as requiredValid passport and driver's licenseExperience in pharmaceutical, medical device, life sciences, packaging, or advanced manufacturing industriesExperience selling custom automation systems or integrated manufacturing solutionsEngineering or technical backgroundExperience with strategic account managementExposure to regulated manufacturing environmentsBenefitsThis position is eligible to participate in a variable sales incentive plan.
