[Remote] Account Manager

They are seeking an Account Manager to develop and grow business with existing accounts and identify new opportunities for profitable growth within the dietary supplements and nutraceuticals sector.ResponsibilitiesRepresent the company in a highly professional manner to both key customers and prospective accountsManage relationships and sales to customers within the marketCommercial responsibility to deliver agreed sales targets for the businessIdentify and on-board opportunities with customers & prospects where company can offer value added solutionsWork closely with cross-functional technical, commercial and operational personnel to progress key identified opportunitiesDevelop a thorough understanding of the products/capabilities offered by company to the industryDevelop an understanding of competitors, their products and key market driversProvide timely information on current and prospective customers, competitors and trends in the Nutritional Ingredient segmentDefine an account plan including relationship management and budget in line with other relevant commercial plans. Update regularly based on (own) analysis or trends and developmentsPrepare and submit periodical reports per defined formats & proceduresPrepare proposals for contracts, lead and/or participate in and/or support negotiations, including defining the negotiation strategyMaintain strict confidentiality at all timesOperate in a highly ethical manner internally & externally and in full alignment with the company’s way of workingSkillsMust have at least a 4-year BA/BS degree: Food Science & Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Human Nutrition, Business Administration, Marketing etc. or equivalent experienceMust have 5+ years' experience selling functional, nutritional ingredients to Dietary Supplement, Nutraceuticals, Sports Nutrition and/or Functional Foods/Beverage ManufacturersWork from Home office and must be willing to travel as needed within the US (specified territory)Must have excellent communication skills are critical to success of this roleMust have the ability to work remotelyPlanning and organization skills including professional attention to detail and follow-up are a mustMust have the ability to understand and translate ingredient portfolio features to targeted customer value propositionsShould have demonstrated ability to open new accountsAbility to interact and communicate well with all functions at the customer such as procurement, sales, operations, R & D, quality and customer serviceMust have ability, willingness and flexibility to travel frequently nationwideMust have good computer skills, competency with MS Office suite and CRM systems (Salesforce)Preferred if candidate has technical, R&D, applications experience and/or experience calling directly on R&D but not requiredKnowledge of Dietary Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Sports Nutritional Products and Functional Foods/Beverages is helpfulExperience working in ingredient sales to the performance nutrition marketPrefer an entrepreneurial attitude; self–starter/hunter mentalityBenefitsW2 OnlyWork from Home office and must be willing to travel as needed within the US (specified territory)Company OverviewINA solution offers staff augmentation, IT consulting, RPO services, software development and website development services.
