They are seeking an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of Canadian CPG advertisers, focusing on driving growth and delivering measurable performance through retail media campaigns.ResponsibilitiesOwn a portfolio of Canadian CPG advertisers, serving as the primary point of contact to drive growth, retention, and long-term partnership valuePlan, launch, and optimize retail media campaigns across Instacart ad products; analyze performance to deliver data-backed recommendations that improve ROAS, incrementality, and category shareIdentify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities, build business cases, and partner with Account Executives on renewals, expansions, and joint business planningLead regular performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews with senior client stakeholders, translating complex data into clear narratives and actionable roadmapsForecast pipeline and revenue, manage pacing and budgets, and ensure operational excellence in collaboration with Ads Operations, Measurement, and FinanceAdvocate for client needs with Product and Engineering by synthesizing feedback and helping pilot new features that improve advertiser outcomes at scaleSkills3+ years of experience in account management or client success within digital advertising, retail media, or e-commerce performance marketingProven track record managing a portfolio of advertisers and meeting or exceeding revenue, retention, and performance goalsHands-on experience running end-to-end campaigns (planning, trafficking coordination, optimization, reporting) and leading QBRs or executive readoutsProficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups) and comfort interpreting large data sets to create clear, actionable insightsEffective communicator with experience influencing senior client stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, and analytics teamsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceExperience working with CPG advertisers and familiarity with retail media networks (e.g., Instacart Ads, Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect)Knowledge of performance marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, incrementality) and experimentation methodologiesExposure to data visualization or BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) and comfort building client-facing dashboardsWorking knowledge of SQL for exploratory analysis and performance deep divesBilingual English/French and experience supporting Canadian national and regional CPG stakeholdersBenefitsSales Incentive PlanThe cash variable incentive target is based on individual sales performance.Payout terms will be based on the Sales incentive Plan for this role.Sales incentive pay is contingent on performance and paid in accordance with the terms of the applicable Sales Incentive Plan.Eligible for a new hire equity grant as well as annual refresh grantsInstacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work.Flexibility to choose where they do their best work—whether it’s from home, an office, or your favorite coffee shop—while staying connected and building community through regular in-person eventsCompany OverviewInstacart is an online grocery platform that offers same-day delivery and pickup services for retailers and consumers.
