[Remote] Account Manager

The Account Manager supports a Senior Account Executive in managing and expanding an established book of business while developing skills for a full-cycle sales role focused on account expansion and sales support.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Senior AE in managing a defined portfolio of existing customersAct as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer needs, smaller projects, and follow-on workIdentify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within active accountsManage inbound leads and smaller outbound opportunities assigned by sales leadershipProspecting activities focused on new logosOwn the full sales cycle for smaller and mid-sized deals, including: Discovery and needs assessment, Solution positioning (with engineering support), Quoting and proposal coordination, Follow-up and closeAssist in preparing proposals, quotes, and presentations for larger opportunities led by the Senior AEMaintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and notes in CRMBuild strong working relationships with customer stakeholders (IT, facilities, security, operations)Conduct regular check-ins to uncover upcoming projects, refresh cycles, and service needsCoordinate with project management and operations to ensure smooth handoffs post-saleShadow the Senior AE on larger pursuits, customer meetings, and strategic account planningLearn company solutions across: Structured cabling, Security, AV, DAS, and network infrastructure, Managed and professional services (as applicable)Develop consultative selling skills and industry knowledgeRevenue growth within assigned accountsNumber and value of closed-won opportunitiesPipeline creation and conversion ratesCRM accuracy and forecast reliabilityCustomer satisfaction and retentionProgression toward independent deal ownershipSkills1β3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of organization and attention to detailCoachable mindset with a desire to learn technical solutionsComfort working in CRM systems and basic sales toolsExperience in low-voltage, technology, construction, or B2B servicesExposure to selling into commercial, healthcare, education, or enterprise environmentsUnderstanding of project-based or services-oriented salesBenefitsCompany HolidaysElective DaysPTOMedical/Dental/Vision InsuranceLife Insurance and AD&DShort/Longβterm Disability401(k) Retirement PlanTuition ReimbursementLeadership Development TrainingCompany OverviewExpert audio-visual, professional services, security, wireless and structured cabling capabilities.
