They are seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to be a key part of their sales team, responsible for selling chromatographic products and developing long-term relationships with customers in Wisconsin.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for selling Agilent products to end-user customersRepresents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales activitiesResponsible for generating existing and/or new sales for assigned named accounts or assigned geographic, territory, industry or accounts list, or for identifying and recruiting strategic partners to embed and/or resell company productsPromotes and sells products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and informs customers of new product introductionsCreates, monitors and revises lead generation plansResponsible for developing customers and maintaining their satisfactionMaintains positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customersMay drive customer utilization of Agilentâs online salesSkillsBachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biology or similar scientific discipline1-2+ years proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific or analytical instruments industryExperience with chromatographic separations (Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectroscopy) and fundamentals and principles is highly desiredDeep technical understanding of Agilent's portfolio of chromatographic solutions and associated applications is highly desirableStrong computer skills and excellent technical written and oral presentation skills are essentialMust be a good team player, able to work collaboratively on projects and sales opportunitiesBenefitsSales incentive eligibleIn the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usagePlus eligibility for bonusPlus eligibility for stockPlus eligibility for benefitsCompany OverviewAgilent Technologies addresses the scientific and laboratory management needs of analytical scientists and clinical researchers.
