[Remote] Account Executive (US Mid-Market)

They are seeking an Account Executive to drive growth in the mid-market segment across the Northeast US, managing the full sales cycle and building relationships with clients to modernize their technology environments and adopt AI solutions.ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage a pipeline of opportunities across fintech, health tech and life sciences, SaaS and other mid-market clientsDevelop and execute a territory plan for the SMB and Startup market in New York and the broader Northeast regionOwn complex sales cycles from initial outreach and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and closeWork with customers to identify opportunities related to cloud modernization, data platforms, AI adoption, security, and managed servicesBuild relationships with technology and business leaders, including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and other senior stakeholdersPartner closely with AWS account teams, partners, and the broader AWS ecosystem to identify opportunities and win businessMaintain an accurate forecast and healthy pipeline while consistently delivering against revenue goalsLead the development of proposals, RFP responses, business cases, and executive presentationsSkillsA minimum of 5-7+ years of experience selling enterprise technology, cloud, managed services, or consulting solutions, with a history of closing complex six- and seven-figure dealsExperience selling into SMB and Startup customersWorking knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies, including infrastructure, data and analytics, security, and AI-related servicesExperience selling professional services, managed services, or cloud transformation engagements involving multiple stakeholders and technical decision-makersExisting relationships within the Financial Services community and the ability to build credibility quickly with senior technology and business leadersA proven ability to manage long, complex sales cycles that involve executive sponsors, procurement, legal, security, and compliance teamsStrong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiencesA self-starter who is comfortable operating independently, creating opportunities, and driving deals forwardBenefitsCompetitive compensation, including a strong base salary and uncapped commission plan with accelerators.Comprehensive benefits, including medical insurance and 401k with company matching as EORFlexibility: OpsGuru believes that sustainable high performance requires balance.
