They are seeking a sales-driven Account Executive, Strategic Network Accounts (West) to manage a portfolio of school district accounts and drive new business through a consultative, value-based approach.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage a portfolio of school district accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth through strategic partnership managementDrive new customer acquisition by identifying, targeting, and securing new district partners and stakeholders through outbound prospecting, referrals, and inbound leadsLead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, discovery, consultative selling, presentations, proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and contract executionAchieve quota by delivering new business bookings, renewals, and expansion revenue across your territoryIdentify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities to expand partnerships and increase account value over timeServe as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for stakeholders, building strong relationships and driving long-term successPartner cross-functionally to ensure successful onboarding, implementation, and ongoing customer experienceManage escalations and coordinate internal resources to resolve issues and maintain high customer satisfactionPrepare and deliver presentations and proposals to district leadership and key decision-makersMaintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting in SalesforceMonitor account performance metrics including renewal rates, pipeline health, and revenue growthStay informed on K-12 trends, funding changes, and the competitive landscapeSkills3–5+ years of quota-carrying sales experienceMinimum 1+ year of K-12 experience, including selling into school districts and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying cyclesProven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience managing full sales cycles and growing both new and existing accountsStrong outbound prospecting skills and disciplined pipeline managementExperience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomesSkilled negotiator with the ability to handle objections and close effectivelyStrong time management and ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with Salesforce or similar CRM systemsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceEdtech experience is a plus but not requiredBenefitsComprehensive benefit plans, including medical with a High Deductible Plan and generous HSA contribution, plus dental and vision coverageIn addition to 11 observed holidays, salaried team members have flexible paid time off and hourly team members accrue 15 days paid time off starting401K savings plan with a discretionary company match$500 home office stipendBenefits package including company-paid life insurance, AD&D, Employee Assistance Program, and disability benefitsWellness programs with Headspace, Peloton and One MedicalPaid parental and caregiving leaveProfessional Development opportunities - eligibility to apply for our scholarship programCollaborative, inclusive, and fun culture that is recognized as Great Place to Work certifiedEmployee Resource Groups to promote shared community and belongingA meaningful and fulfilling opportunity to join a mission-driven team and help thousands of students unlock their full potential through access to high-quality special education servicesOpportunities to give back to your community, including volunteer time off and donation matchingCompany OverviewPresence makes live, online special education related services available to K-12 students.
