The Account Executive for Parchment K12 is tasked with driving sales in the K12 public school sector, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within their territory.ResponsibilitiesSchedule and deliver five (5) “1st new meetings” per weekSchedule and hold weekly meetings with a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to execute territory strategy for pipeline creationGenerate $25,000-$50,000 in new sales opportunities weekly, depending on territory assignmentMaintain all current quarter opportunities with accurate contacts, close dates, and notesMake incremental progress toward attaining annual quota by year endManage a fully ramped annual sales quota of $350,000 - $500,000 and a sales pipeline of $1M-2MCreate, implement, and maintain a quarterly territory planExecute a consistent prospecting methodology as part of your routineManage SaaS portfolio solution sales with 2 to 6 month purchasing cycles and multiple buyers, quarterbacking the sale through completion and transition to Customer Success ManagerContinuously learn about new products and improve your selling skillsProvide regular reporting of pipeline and forecasts using SalesforceStay informed about competition, industry trends, and new product offeringsAttend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade showsPrepare written presentations, reports, and price quotationsConduct and manage contract negotiationsDemonstrate the ability to sell more than one product to new logo clientsSkillsStrong attention to detailProven ability to build and leverage strong relationshipsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBright, energetic professional with outstanding interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlinesAbility to work in a large, remote corporate environmentSelf-driven, independent, and motivated by a growth mindsetProficient in Google Suite of Tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) – requiredSalesforce reporting and usage – requiredExperience with sales enablement tools such as Outreach, Salesforce, and Highspot to develop and implement effective sales campaigns/sequencesBachelor's degree preferred3+ years of sales experience, preferably within an EdTech SaaS companyFamiliarity with solution-based selling methodologies is a plusBenefitsCompetitive compensation, plus all full-time employees participate in our ownership program - because everyone should have a stake in our success.Flexible work culture.
