[Remote] Account Executive – GM Fleet (Northeast Region)

The Account Executive will manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, focusing on customer relationships, retention, and expansion within the GM Fleet portfolio.ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of assigned accounts and develop account plans that support retention, expansion, and long-term growthBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive-level decision-makersEngage customers early in the buying cycle to understand business needs and position tailored, value-driven solutionsAdvance opportunities through the pipeline, lead negotiations, and structure competitive, profitable dealsIdentify opportunities for organic account growth while pursuing new business within the territoryPartner cross-functionally to support solution delivery, customer adoption, customer success, and future sales expansionRepresent customer needs internally and provide feedback that supports ongoing product and solution developmentMaintain accurate and up-to-date account activity, pipeline, and customer data in CRM systemsMonitor performance against key metrics and deliver timely, accurate sales forecastsAssess business trends and account performance to support planning, prioritization, and decision-makingEffectively manage multiple high-profile accounts, competing priorities, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentPerform other responsibilities as assignedSkills5+ years of B2B sales and/or account management experience; enterprise account experience strongly preferredBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experienceProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsDemonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders within complex, matrixed organizationsStrong organization, planning, and time management skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/account management applicationsExperience developing customer-centric, win-win solutionsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguityDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with strong follow-throughAbility to travel up to 75% within the assigned regionMobility to relocate in the future within the United States, if required by business needsMaster's degreeExperience in fleet, mobility, automotive, or related commercial industriesExperience managing large, complex enterprise accountsBenefitsBonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.Benefits: GM offers a variety of health and wellbeing benefit programs.
