[Remote] Account Executive, Early Phase Development

Catalent Pharma Solutions LLC is a global leader in drug development and delivery, and they are seeking an Account Executive for Early Phase Development. The role involves identifying, negotiating, and closing new early-stage development and clinical manufacturing business while providing customer relationship management support to existing and new development programs.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales plans (effectively utilizing Miller-Heiman sales methodology) to identify, qualify, pursue and close new development opportunities (using Scotwork Negotiation Skills Methodology) within an assigned region (current customers and/or prospects) to achieve revenue and new business objectivesWork with legal to execute appropriate and negotiate complex development and supply agreements (using Scotwork Negotiation Skills Methodology)Present Catalent’s Formulation Development and Clinical Manufacturing capabilities knowledgeably and effectively with customers, and craft specific targeted solutions that meet customers’ manufacturing and development needsPresent Catalent’s broader capabilities knowledgeably and effectively with customers, in order to generate cross-sell opportunities and craft value-added solutions for customers across technologiesSupport and prepare development proposals working closely with R&D and negotiate these proposalsCollaborate with VPBD’s, Global Account Directors and other Business Units BD teams in the construction and execution of their strategic account plan(s), if applicableProvide input into pricing strategy with assigned customersOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in science, business administration or other related field5+ years of relevant experience in B2B sales, Business Development or Project ManagementAdvanced scientific degree and/or Master of Business Administration / commercially orientated degree is advantageous but not essentialSales/business development experience in the contract pharmaceutical industry preferredThorough understanding of oral solid-dose manufacturing is a plusThorough understanding of bioavailability enhancement technologies and manufacturing process is a plusBenefitsCompetitive Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K19 days PTO & 8 paid holidaysEmployee Stock Purchase PlanCompany OverviewCatalent - Blow-Fill-Seal Sterile CDMO Business is focusing on complex clinical to commercial stage formulation and manufacturing.
