[Remote] Account Executive (Commerce & Compliance Divisions)

They are seeking a high-performing Account Executive specializing in commerce and compliance to drive new business growth across their compliance-oriented SaaS companies.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and convert new logo opportunities across regulated industries (financial services, logistics, retail, manufacturing, government contractors, etc.)Build prospecting sequences targeting compliance officers, operational leaders, and risk managersUse domain insight to articulate pain around governance, audit trails, policy compliance, and system-of-record accuracyManage qualification, discovery, presentations, proposals, and contract negotiationDeliver compelling demos that emphasize workflow automation, compliance controls, and ROIRun deep discovery to quantify risk exposure, process inefficiencies, and audit burdensAlign solutions to regulatory frameworks (SOC, ISO, SOX, GRC, internal audit mandates)Apply MEDDPICC to ensure disciplined deal management and forecasting accuracyMaintain hubspot pipeline hygiene, forecast updates, and documentationPartner with SDRs to refine ICP targeting across compliance-heavy segmentsCollaborate with Marketing to shape vertical campaigns, compliance content, and case studiesEnsure smooth handoff to Customer Success for implementation and compliance onboardingNavigate legal, procurement, and compliance review cyclesStructure deals that support long-term partnership and audit readinessSkills5+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, with a strong record of meeting or exceeding quotaSuccess selling compliance, workflow, or operations-focused toolsExperience closing SaaS deals across the full spectrum—from small businesses to large enterprise organizationsStrong understanding of regulatory environments or risk-driven buying cyclesDemonstrated success in new business acquisition with customersExpertise using structured methodologies such as MEDDPICC to drive forecast accuracy and close ratesProven ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders, including senior decision-makersExceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsCRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred)Self-starter with resilience, discipline, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performance environmentExperience selling GRC, audit automation, commerce workflows, or supply-chain compliance softwareFamiliarity with SOC, ISO, SOX, OSHA, PCI, or comparable frameworksBackground working with compliance officers, operations leaders, and legal teamsCompany OverviewCordance is dedicated to accelerating the growth of vertically focused business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies.
