[Remote] Account Executive – CMMC & Microsoft Cloud Services

Agile IT is a Microsoft AOS-G partner focused on the Defense Industrial Base, helping clients achieve CMMC compliance and secure operations in Microsoft cloud environments. They are seeking a seasoned Account Executive to drive revenue across Professional Services and Microsoft licensing, primarily targeting government contractors and regulated industries. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, expanding managed services contracts, and leveraging Microsoft relationships to close complex deals.ResponsibilitiesProspect, qualify, and close new business for CMMC readiness, remediation, and Microsoft 365 GCC/GCC High and Azure implementation projectsSell and expand managed services (MSP/MSSP) contracts and Microsoft licensing, including recurring services aligned to CMMC and ongoing compliance requirementsFocus on regulated segments including government contractors, Healthcare, Manufacturing, AEC, and Financial services, tailoring solutions to industry-specific security and compliance needsOwn the full sales cycle from discovery and scoping through proposal, negotiation, and close, in partnership with solution architects and delivery leadersLeverage and grow a network of Microsoft field sellers and partner teams to generate pipeline, co-sell opportunities, and marketplace-driven engagementsMaintain an accurate, well-structured pipeline and forecast using Autotask (or similar PSA/CRM) and follow a disciplined sales processManage a defined book of business for expansion, renewals, and cross-sell, ensuring seamless handoff to delivery and customer success teamsPresent Agile IT’s value proposition to executive, compliance, and technical stakeholders, clearly articulating business outcomes, risk reduction, and compliance posture improvementsSkills5–7+ years of quota-carrying B2B technology sales experience, with a mix of Professional Services, Microsoft licensing, and MSP recurring servicesProven hunter profile with a track record of generating and closing new-logo business; comfortable in a 70% hunting / 30% account management modelExperience selling into government contractors and commercial regulated customers (Healthcare, Manufacturing, AEC, Financial services) with security and compliance–driven initiativesFamiliarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, and Microsoft 365 GCC/GCC High, with the ability to translate these requirements into projects and managed servicesExperience working for or with an MSP/MSSP and using platforms such as Autotask or similar PSAs/CRMsEstablished or developable relationships with Microsoft field sellers, PDMs, or CSAs, and experience participating in co-sell motionsStrong consultative selling, discovery, and scoping skills; able to collaborate effectively with technical and delivery teamsExcellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, comfortable presenting to C-level and technical audiencesAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and consistently meet or exceed quotaMicrosoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) certificationCybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Certified Professional (CCP) or equivalent compliance/security credentialPrior experience specifically selling Microsoft 365 GCC or GCC High solutions and managed servicesBenefitsComprehensive benefits package (medical, retirement plan, PTO, professional development).Mission-driven work that directly strengthens the national security supply chain.Company OverviewAdvanced Microsoft Technology Solutions It was founded in 2004, and is headquartered in San Diego, California, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
