[Remote] Account Executive (Clinical)

The Account Executive (Clinical) will build relationships with key decision-makers, develop account strategies, and guide opportunities through the sales process in the clinical diagnostics segment.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of new business opportunities through proactive identification and qualification of key contacts within assigned strategic accounts and targetsDevelop and implement account strategies and sales plans to achieve or exceed quota targetsEstablish relationships with key client decision makers to understand their business goals and how we could help them achieve desired resultsAnticipate and mitigate prospect/client challenges through proactive engagement methodologiesCross-functional collaboration within Velsera and prospect/client teams to develop and scope solutionsManage up-to-date activity, planning, and forecasting of all qualified opportunities and account targets throughout the sales process to closure statusMaintain a current and appropriate understanding of Velsera product portfolio as well as genomics, bioinformatics analysis, and prospect/client-related scientific directionActive participation at industry meetings and conferences as required to represent VelseraDevelop and deliver presentations, and proposals to meet expressed and anticipated customer needsFollow industry trends and competitor strategies to distinguish and leverage key differentiatorsMaintain a strategic plan for all accounts and provide regular pipeline and forecast updates to senior leadershipTravel may be required up to 50%Skills5+ years of direct sales experience, with a track record of success in quota-carrying rolesExperience selling into healthcare settings, including academic medical centers, health systems, hospitals, or reference laboratoriesDemonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in a consultative selling environmentStrong relationship-building skills across all organizational levels, including senior leadershipExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and effectivelyCollaborative team player who can also work independently to drive new and existing businessProficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and standard business productivity toolsExperience in genetics, genomics, clinical laboratory, or life sciences salesFamiliarity with SaaS or data solutions in a healthcare or clinical contextBachelors DegreeExisting relationships within clinical or genomics organizationsBenefitsA full-suite of industry leading benefits (list by location)Remote work flexibilityCompany OverviewVelsera is a consolidation of three companies within digital diagnostics, bioinformatics, healthcare data, and advanced analytics.
