The role involves analyzing client needs, leading teams to implement solutions, and identifying opportunities for upselling products and services.ResponsibilitiesRespond to client inquiries within 24 hours, acknowledging and building expectations for resolution; deliver on commitmentsAssure delivery of fully executed client contracts, including but not limited to Plan document, Summary of BenefitsCreate and maintain a proactive interaction with clients, brokers, business partners, and vendors adequately to identify and address problems and issues expeditiouslyCommunicate and assure client compliance with federally mandated requirementsEvaluate client needs and lead cross-functional teams to design, plan, configure, and implement products and services on a timely basis - Renewals, New Client implementationAssist leadership team in guiding and mentoring Account Managers and Account Management AssociatesAnalyze and evaluate client's plan performance and seek opportunities to upsell/cross-sell FBG products and services while improving the overall service experience to clients and their membersWork as a responsible team member supporting projects relating to problem resolution, research, implementations, enrollments, and renewalsBuild and maintain a strong understanding of product/service delivery systems and infrastructure adequate to identify and address problems and issues, including information requests, expeditiouslyDevelop and maintain a thorough understanding of client's objectives for their plan; discuss key performance indicators, analyze issues, and recommend/model changes necessary to achieve those objectivesDevelop and maintain familiarity with FBG reporting and analysis tools to report plan performance metrics to brokers, consultants, and clientsParticipate in team training, sharing your knowledge of health benefits, products, processes, compliance, data analysis, communications, problem-solving, and project managementSchedule and lead client 'delivery centered meetings,' communicating progress in gathering required data, research, and supporting analysis, including preparing and distributing helpful documents to guide the discussionBuild and maintain an effective feedback infrastructure to gather critical intelligence on client satisfaction from all sources related to the client's total product/service experience, including brokers, consultants, vendors, partners, stop-loss carriers, etc., to assure maximum opportunity to retain the business and related revenuesSkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsComfortable working and communicating across operational areas within the organizationCan appropriately handle confidential and sensitive informationAbility to present to clients and executives in a confident mannerSuperior client service attitude complimented with motivation and passionDriven desire to succeed married to a highly developed work ethicGreat attention to details; particularly those driving benefit plan performanceAbility to work independently/autonomously and proactively as well as collaboratively as a senior member of the account management teamAnalysis - ability to identify problems/issues and propose high-performing solutionsBachelor's degree or equivalent education and related experienceFive to ten years of experience in Health plan and/or payroll-cycle benefit plan administrationExtensive knowledge and experience in the group health insurance industry for fully-insured and self-funded plans and Healthcare ReformExperienced in dealing with clients and brokersHave the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and simultaneously and maintain deadlinesSelf-starter capable of taking the initiative and working interdependently with other staff, team playerExtensive experience and demonstrated proficiency in all MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPointCompany OverviewFringe Benefit Group creates programs that simplify the benefits process for employers with hourly workers.
