They are seeking an Account Executive to build relationships with educational institutions, understand their needs, and drive sales by positioning Civitas Learning as a strategic partner.ResponsibilitiesGain a deep understanding of the higher education procurement process as well as the institutional, student success initiatives, and the solution we are bringing to marketOperate as the CEO of your territory, working with the Head of Sales to pursue opportunities to exceed your revenue targetsBuild long-lasting, trusted relationships with prospects while positioning Civitas Learning as a strategic partnerQuarterback teams externally with customers and internally with cross-functional groupsConsistently build and manage an effective pipelineCommunicate proactively with leadership throughout each phase of the sales processGain commitmentWork diligently with speed, efficiency, and precisionParticipate in team-building and training, where you will learn from colleagues and continue to hone your ability to add value to your relationships by challenging and problem-solvingCollaborate with the customer development team to ensure a smooth handoff of partnership opportunitiesSkillsBachelor's Degree and at least 3 years experience in enterprise software sales, bonus points for previous closing experience - more bonus points for working in education technology or in a start-up environmentThe ability to travel up to 25-50% of the timeOutstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholdersProven track record of success in previous sales rolesAuthorization to work in the U.SExperience using Outreach, Salesforce, and other sales tools is a bonusCompany OverviewCivitas Learning is the student success platform for higher education.
