They are seeking an Account Executive responsible for generating new business and meeting sales goals within an assigned territory, utilizing company resources to provide packaging solutions for customers.ResponsibilitiesPerforming all duties from a foundation of trust and the highest ethical conduct, following established safety rules, company policies, and proceduresGenerating new businessMeeting or exceeding sales goalsHelping determine product specifications, quotes, and pricingPreparing weekly and monthly activity reportsCompiling and analyzing prospective customer information within sales territory to develop prospect listUtilizing company project management & customer engagement software (PORT, ZOHO)Making sales calls and giving sales presentations to a range of prospective customersPreparing and submitting sales contracts for ordersVisiting customers and potential customers to evaluate needs while promoting additional products and servicesMaintaining customer records and relationships with key customer contactsAnswering customer questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availabilityPerforming packaging audits and working closely with the BCI Design Team to create value added solutions in a timely mannerFull-time role involving regular travel to BCI plants, customers’ facilities and trade showsSkillsPerforming all duties from a foundation of trust and the highest ethical conduct, following established safety rules, company policies, and proceduresGenerating new businessMeeting or exceeding sales goalsHelping determine product specifications, quotes, and pricingPreparing weekly and monthly activity reportsCompiling and analyzing prospective customer information within sales territory to develop prospect listUtilizing company project management & customer engagement software (PORT, ZOHO)Making sales calls and giving sales presentations to a range of prospective customersPreparing and submitting sales contracts for ordersVisiting customers and potential customers to evaluate needs while promoting additional products and servicesMaintaining customer records and relationships with key customer contactsAnswering customer questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availabilityPerforming packaging audits and working closely with the BCI Design Team to create value added solutions in a timely mannerFull-time role involving regular travel to BCI plants, customers' facilities and trade showsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong communication, interpersonal, listening and verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliersHighly motivated and results-orientated individual who can work well both independently and within a team environmentDemonstrates an aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers with a consultative and personalized sales approachCommitment to excellent customer service and knowledgeable of industry standardsEffectively manages time working under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in sales/marketingMinimum of 3-5 years sales experience (corrugated packaging/manufacturing industry preferred)Must live in, or within a reasonable distance of, the geographical sales territory assigned, as determined by BCICorrugated packaging/manufacturing industry preferredEducation RequirementsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in sales/marketing.BenefitsMedicalDentalVision and life insuranceDisability benefits401(k)Paid time off and holidaysBonus planOpportunity for employee stock ownershipCompany OverviewFounded in 1958, Buckeye Corrugated, Inc.
