This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling advanced data storage and management solutions to new accounts in the Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical.ResponsibilitiesDevelop & execute strategic sales plans to achieve/exceed quarterly and annual revenue targetsProspect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories or target accountsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizationsConduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the specific needs of AI-focused clientsNegotiate contracts and close deals with a sense of urgencyStay at the forefront of AI industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamicsArticulate the value proposition of our solutions in the context of AI workloads and challengesEngage in thoughtful discussions about AI applications, data pipelines, and infrastructure requirementsCollaborate with our product team to provide market feedback and influence the product roadmapMaintain an active and healthy pipeline of AI workload opportunitiesAccurately forecast sales projections and report on sales activitiesUtilize CRM systems to track all customer interactions and sales progressWork closely with sales engineers, product specialists, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfactionPartner with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and attend industry eventsCollaborate with leadership to refine sales strategies and processesSkills7+ years of successful enterprise sales experience, with at least 3 years selling AI-related technologies or solutionsUnderstand how to articulate high performance, data center solutions with an emphasis on efficiency impacts on networking, compute, and storageExperience selling business solutions to the C-Suite, SVP, and VP levels of Fortune 1000 companiesDemonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas in a high-growth environmentStrong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning workflows, and related infrastructure requirementsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesWillingness and ability to travel 50% of the timePassion for AI and its potential to transform industriesAbility to work at an extremely fast pace and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslySelf-motivated with a strong desire to exceed expectationsAdaptability and resilience in a rapidly changing environmentStrong problem-solving skills and a consultative sales approachExcellent time management and organizational skillsBachelor's degree is required; advanced degree a plusExperience selling data storage, data management, or infrastructure solutions for AI workloadsKnowledge of cloud computing platforms and their AI/ML servicesFamiliarity with data analytics, big data technologies, and data science workflowsActive network within the AI community or relevant industry verticalsThe ideal candidate will be located in the Bay Area, Denver Region or the West Coast of the United StatesBenefitsIn addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation (commission).Company OverviewDDN is the worldâs leading AI and data intelligence company, powering the worldâs most demanding AI workloads by keeping GPUs fed, efficient, and productiveâat massive scaleâso organizations can train, checkpoint, and infer faster with less footprint and power while achieving tremendous ROI from their AI investments.
