They are seeking an Account Executive to drive sales, build relationships with small businesses, and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.ResponsibilitiesOwn the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, driving new business across inbound and outbound channels and ensuring successful post-close activationBecome an expert in our product and industry to advise business owners and their accountants and bookkeepers in a high-trust manner while aligning their goals/objectives with our product capabilitiesTranslate product capabilities into tangible business value tailored to each customer’s goalsGo above and beyond just delivering your quota and strategize with team members to innovate and improve the overall sales processCross-functionally work with internal departments such as Business Development, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Sales EnablementSkills2+ years of full sales cycle or account management experience, ideally within fintech or selling to SMBs, accountants, or bookkeepersA consultative, discovery-led sales approach and can translate customer needs into clear business valueExperience with strategic account-based prospecting and outbound pipeline generationProficient with CRM software and other sales-related tools (e.g. Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, etc.) and actively leverage AI to improve prospecting efficiency, personalize outreach, and elevate day-to-day sales effectivenessEnjoy collaborating with other departments and mentoring/coaching junior team membersStrong interpersonal skills, a growth mindset, and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-scaling, evolving environmentExperience in fintech, accounting software or a neobankWorked with SMBs in North AmericaProficient in SpanishCompany OverviewRelay is an online banking platform that puts business owners in complete control of their cash flow.
