The Account Coordinator, National Accounts is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and execution of all policy documents and servicing requests for Relation’s largest clients. This role involves acting as the primary contact for administrative tasks and requires staying knowledgeable about advances in the insurance business.ResponsibilitiesServes as a point of contact for Relation’s largest, most complex clients. Monitors client questions, provides recommendations in partnership with the National Accounts Account Management Team on appropriate coverage changes and/or contractual requirementsIdentifies, researches and provides resolution for standard client issuesProvides support to the National Accounts Account Management team in the remarketing of renewals to ensure a high level of account retention. Creates proposals as directed by the Account ManagerMay review policies received from carriers to ensure accuracy to specifications/binders; expedite with insurance carriers needed corrections to policies received, process or prepare (order, follow-up and/or check) endorsements and applicationsFacilitates the prompt response from carriers in an effort to work toward a settlement of all claimsReviews policy audits and verifies their accuracy. Confirms necessary corrections between the client and the carrier are executed at the direction of the National Accounts Account Management team. Proactively communicates with client any significant audit differencesReviews cancellations and determines reason for cancellation requests with an attempt to save client accounts, as appropriate, while maintaining the company’s financial equity at the direction of the National Accounts Account Management teamStays abreast of industry information, new products, legislation, coverage and technology to continuously improve knowledge, performance and services to clientsFully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process to deliver a best-in-class client service experiencePerforms other projects, duties, and tasks, as assignedSkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2+ years of client service experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial linesA Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required and must be maintainedStrong analytical and mathematical skillsStrong PowerPoint and presentation skills for both in-person and teleconference/webinar sessionsOutstanding interpersonal and communications skills are required to maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors and othersMust be able to understand written and oral communications and interpret information written within policiesProficient skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word).
