[Remote] Account Consultant IV - National Accounts (Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is a leading health insurance provider, seeking an Account Consultant IV for National Accounts. This role involves renewing and growing complex business accounts, managing client relationships, and driving sales initiatives to achieve profitability objectives. Responsibilities • Ensures that each assigned account renews annually and aggressively pursues growth within groups by developing and implementing account specific benefit and financial strategies • Manages and develops a set of assigned accounts to increase profitability through strategic cross-selling of products and programs, as well installing new corporate programs • Develops strong and long-term relationships with the customer and benefits consultants • Takes accountability for customer satisfaction and responsibility for managing the customer-facing team, and SMEs on projects, educational sessions and other corporate initiatives. Ensures all deadlines are met • Resolves issues and handles client complaints quickly and effectively by utilizing internal support teams as necessary • Receives regular customer feedback and recommends strategy and tactical approaches to increase customer engagement and satisfaction Skills • CANDIDATES MUST LIVE IN THE MD, DC, NORTHERN VA AREA IN ORDER TO TRAVEL INTO THE OFFICES AND FOR CLIENT MEETINGS AND STAFF MEETINGS • ACTIVE HEALTH AND LIFE LICENSE IS REQUIRED • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience • Experience: 10 years sales/healthcare • Licenses/Certifications: Current health and life license for the jurisdictions of Maryland, DC, and Virginia Upon Hire Required • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without Sponsorship • Customer management or consulting experience is preferred • Experience in a similar sales position with a competitor or another Blue Cross Blue Shield plan is preferred Benefits • Comprehensive benefits package • Various incentive programs/plans • 401k contribution programs/plans Company Overview • CareFirst.
