Remote Access Network Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Remote Access Network Engineer to support our telecommunications client. This individual will manage secure connectivity, account access, and vulnerability remediation across enterprise systems. They support incident resolution and MACD requests through process improvements, documentation, and automation. The role involves cross-team troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and hardware/software support. Engineers develop best practices for access management and ensure compliance with security standards. They also evaluate sparing strategies and support procurement activities. On-call availability for emergency support via SMC/NOC is required. The hours are 8:00-5:00pm AKDT.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree

1 year of experience with cable modem core network

1 year of experience with Commscope E6000, Harmonic Cloud Native vCMTS, and Vecima EPON products

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certifications in SCTE or Nokia NRS1
