The role involves serving as a subject matter expert for the Elite 3E platform, managing daily accounting and financial operations, and collaborating with various teams to enhance system effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary functional expert for the Elite 3E systemManage, support, and optimize daily accounting and financial operations within Elite 3EConfigure and maintain financial workflows, billing processes, client accounting structures, and reporting functionsWork closely with Accounting, Finance, Billing, Collections, and Practice Management teams to ensure system effectivenessAnalyze and troubleshoot accounting, billing, and financial process issues within Elite 3ESupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial activitiesAssist with system upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and process improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and operational reportingProvide user training and guidance on Elite 3E functionality and best practicesCollaborate with technical teams when required while serving as the functional business leadRecommend process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and complianceSkillsExtensive hands-on experience with the Elite 3E platformStrong understanding of legal accounting principles and law firm financial operationsProven experience operating, managing, and supporting Elite 3E in a legal environmentDeep knowledge of: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing and E-Billing, Trust Accounting, Matter Management, Revenue Recognition, Financial Reporting, Month-End and Year-End Close ProcessesAbility to translate accounting and business requirements into effective system solutionsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience working directly with finance and accounting stakeholdersPrior experience working within a law firm or legal services environmentExperience with Elite 3E implementations, upgrades, or system migrationsKnowledge of legal billing platforms and e-billing systemsFamiliarity with financial reporting and business intelligence toolsAccounting degree, Finance degree, CPA, or equivalent financial qualification preferredCompany OverviewMorae Global Corporation ("Morae") is trusted around the world for the delivery of digital and business solutions for a constantly changing legal industry.
