Intertech, Inc. is seeking a Front-End Developer for a modernization initiative aimed at transforming a large-scale enterprise application. This role focuses on rebuilding and modernizing the user interface, collaborating closely with backend engineers to support a transition to a service-based architecture.ResponsibilitiesDevelop modern, responsive UI components using React and TypeScriptRebuild and modernize approximately 300+ UI screens of medium complexityIntegrate front-end components with backend services via REST and GraphQL APIsCollaborate with backend and architecture teams to align UI with microservices and security patternsBuild scalable UI architecture using TanStack (Query/Router)Implement clean, maintainable styling using Tailwind CSSParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and iterative developmentSupport accessibility compliance efforts (WCAG 2.0/2.1)Work in a collaborative, co-development environment with Intertech teamsSkillsStrong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)Hands-on experience with ReactExperience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first styling frameworksExperience with TanStack (React Query and/or TanStack Router)Strong understanding of component-based architecture and modern frontend patternsExperience integrating with REST APIs (GraphQL exposure is a plus)Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and responsive designExperience with Git-based version controlAbility to interpret and modernize legacy UI workflowsExperience with GraphQL APIsFamiliarity with Playwright or other end-to-end testing frameworksExperience with modern build tools such as ViteExposure to Docker or containerized environmentsExperience with Angular (for legacy or hybrid environments)Experience modernizing UIs for large-scale enterprise systemsExperience working in public sector or government environmentsBenefitsW2 Hourly1099C2CCompany OverviewIntertech is a Software Development Consulting Firm that provides full-time experts and single and multiple turnkey software development teams, available on your schedule and configured to achieve success as defined by your requirements, independently or in co-development with your team.
