[Remote] (1099 Contract) Nonprofit Salesforce Consultant: Business Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. As a Business Analyst, you will provide post-implementation support, system optimization, and ongoing administration while working closely with clients to design and implement Salesforce solutions that meet their needs.
Responsibilities
β’ Provide system administration, design, and optimization services inline with Managed Service contract engagement standards & SLAβs
β’ Educate, guide, and empower clients in the Idealist Way
β’ Balance response times and approvals across multiple assignments
β’ Plan activities from requirements to solution design using prescribed project management tools and delivery methodologies to ensure continuity in communication and project quality
β’ Escalate client or consultant capacity concerns to Client Success for resolution support
β’ Design and implement Salesforce solutions, to meet client needs, identify opportunities for business process and system alignment and optimization
β’ Facilitate client need assessment, through user story collection, grooming, and prioritization
β’ Favor declarative configuration with custom fields, objects, layouts, views, reports, dashboards, and automation
β’ Support validation and user acceptance testing
β’ Ensure data integrity, hygiene, and security
β’ Provide documentation to empower client understanding and ownership of their system
β’ Facilitate the selection and implement third-party solutions and applications as needed
β’ Translate client business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the platforms, products, and applications
β’ Lead data mapping efforts during solution design and implementation phases, ensuring data integrity and usability across systems
β’ Provide on project mentorship for Jnr Consultants and new hires
β’ Assist Sales and Services Teams in preparing estimates for implementation, providing detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions
β’ Alert Client Success of new opportunities as identified
β’ Stay up to date on Salesforce best practice, ecosystem trends, and product releases
β’ Advise and train clients on product enhancements, new functionality, and adoption opportunities
Skills
β’ 1-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Salesforce Consultant, with hands-on experience in Salesforce implementations (Experience Cloud and/or Agentforce Nonprofit/NPC preferred)
β’ Current working knowledge of Salesforce for nonprofits recent releases and roadmap
β’ Able to solve automation requirements with Flow
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
β’ Ability to balance multiple project assignments at one time
β’ Creative and analytical thinking with a passion for solving customer problems with software solutions
β’ Understanding of nonprofit business process and complexities
β’ Salesforce certifications such as: Experience Cloud, Agentforce Nonprofit, and/or Agentforce Specialist
β’ Previous experience as a Salesforce for Nonprofit consultant
β’ Experience managing projects or engaging in projects with technical and cross-functional components
