They are seeking a part-time Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web applications, focusing on both frontend and backend technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python, React, TypeScript, and modern web technologiesBuild, enhance, and maintain backend APIs and services using FastAPI or similar Python frameworksDevelop responsive, scalable, and user-friendly frontend applications using React and Next.jsDesign, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrityImplement and maintain secure authentication and authorization systems using Auth0 or equivalent OIDC/JWT and RBAC solutionsDeploy, monitor, and support applications within AWS cloud environmentsManage and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure components, including EC2, RDS, IAM, Application Load Balancers (ALB), and CloudWatchParticipate in infrastructure planning and cloud architecture discussions to improve scalability, security, and operational efficiencyBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and support branch-based deployment workflowsContainerize and deploy applications using DockerMonitor application health, performance, and reliability, identifying and resolving production issues proactivelyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutionsConduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices, coding standards, and technical documentationSupport continuous improvement initiatives across application architecture, infrastructure, and development processesSkills3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineeringStrong experience developing production applications using PythonHands-on experience with FastAPI or similar backend frameworksSolid experience with SQL and PostgreSQL database design and optimizationStrong frontend development experience with React and TypeScriptExperience building applications with Next.js, preferably using the App Router architectureHands-on experience working with AWS infrastructure and cloud-hosted production environmentsExperience with AWS services, including: EC2, RDS, IAM, Application Load Balancer (ALB), CloudWatchPractical understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including networking, security, monitoring, and troubleshootingExperience implementing authentication and authorization using Auth0 or equivalent OIDC/JWT-based identity platforms and RBAC modelsExperience working with Docker containersExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub ActionsStrong understanding of Git workflows and branch-based deployment processesAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues across the full application stackStrong communication and collaboration skillsProfessional-level English proficiencyExperience with OpenTelemetry or other observability and monitoring platformsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly TerraformExperience with AWS networking, VPC configuration, and cloud security best practicesExperience integrating Stripe billing systems, subscriptions, and webhook-driven workflowsExperience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or AnthropicExposure to distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or microservicesExperience building AI-powered or data-intensive applicationsBenefitsThis position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.Company OverviewGoFasti is helping companies scale their teams with world-class talent in Latin America.
