Reinsurance Specialist

The Reinsurance Specialist will manage an assigned client portfolio, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate activity entry, while collaborating with departments to support collections and fund settlements. Responsibilities Manage assigned client portfolio, including timely follow-up, accurate system entry of client activity, and securing reinsurance premiums Collaborate with other departments to support collection efforts and cash application processes as needed Oversee timely settlement of funds to and from clients, ensuring compliance with all payment warranties and conditions Complete assigned tasks accurately and in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Provide detailed client-specific accounting and claims information to support sales opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets by understanding their needs and resolving issues effectively; actively participate in team meetings to share knowledge and contribute to outcomes Skills 1+ years of experience in reinsurance, insurance, accounting, or claims Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or risk management Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively Demonstrated teamwork skills with a positive attitude Proactive in offering and implementing ideas to improve processes in a dynamic environment Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills Consistently promoting and enhancing the Guy Carpenter brand 4+ years' of experience in risk management Benefits Health and welfare benefits Tuition assistance 401K savings and other retirement programs Employee assistance programs Company Overview At Guy Carpenter, a Marsh business, we deliver a powerful combination of (re)insurance broking expertise, capital solutions, global analytics, advisory, and client support services to help clients seize opportunities and achieve profitable growth.
