Reimbursement Coordinator
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Reimbursement Coordinator. In this critical role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, physicians, and referral sources, providing compassionate support and efficient, first-call resolution. Responsibilities
• Managed a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, consistently providing first-call resolution by assessing caller needs and concerns.
• Processed accurate referrals and applications while adhering to updated policy and procedural changes.
• Coordinated with patient and physician referral sources to investigate and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintained patient accounts from initial contact through final approval or denial, ensuring a supportive and empathetic experience throughout the entire process.
• Captured detailed information in a proprietary software system while engaging with patients and other callers.
• Reported adverse events and complex issues in compliance with regulatory timeframes.
• Prioritized multiple, concurrent assignments to maintain productivity and urgency.
