Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Tracheostomy Trained REQUIRED

The shift is nights 10 pm to 8 am weekends only - MUST be available every other weekend starting March 13/14/15, then March 27/28/29 then April 10/11/12. . The RPN is expected to be Tracheostomy Trained. This is a must. Job Benefits: Competitive pay at $35/hr Benefits Plan available after working 30+ hours per week* 4% Vacation Pay on every pay Flexible hours The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: Conducting assessments and reassessments Developing, monitoring, and updating plans of care, as assigned Providing medication support and administration Responding to all emergency situations Completing reports and communicating with the family about any changes in care Meeting the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all times All other duties, as assigned Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario Valid First Aid/CPR certificate Vulnerable sector screen and 2 satisfactory professional references Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions Tracheostomy trained, med resistive and reactive, comfortable with managing seizures Must have a valid license and reliable vehicle Effective time management skills to work under specified time constraints and in accordance with job routines, while observing policies and procedures as well as applicable work standards and safety regulations Please submit the appropriate documents for review.
