You will provide reassurance, comfort, and consistency, becoming a trusted and valued extension of the client and family.PositionPediatric Registered Nurse in Grand Valley, ON. Shifts are Thursday & Friday from 21:30-07:30. Please note: If you cannot commit to the weekly schedule, we will not be able to accept your application.General Duties (specific duties may vary based on individual client needs)Provide G/GJ tube care and managementProvide seizure care and managementAdminister and document medications as prescribed, in accordance with CNO medication administration standardsMonitor and ensure the safekeeping of medications and narcoticsMaintain the child's records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standardsAssist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily livingObserve and report changes in the child's condition to the parent/guardian and WeeCareAssist with ambulation, mobilization, transfers, and use of adaptive aidsDemonstrate understanding of the child’s needs and support the child in maximizing their abilitiesProvide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child and familyRespond to child and family concerns and ensure appropriate follow-upAssist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including the child’s equipment and belongingsNotify the supervisor of any concerns related to the child’s safety, incidents, or accidentsComplete other duties as assignedRequirementsLicensed and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)Seizure experienceExperience working with pediatric clientsCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationVulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the past 6 monthsProfessional Liability Insurance (PLI)ScheduleThursday & Friday, 21:30-07:30Night shift10 hour shiftsAbility to CommuteGrand Valley, ON L9W 0Z2Employee BenefitsCompetitive rate of payComprehensive health and dental benefit planRecognition programFlexible schedulingComprehensive training programSupportive management team
