Job Overview We're offering an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated RN - NICU to provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families. As a travel nurse with Vetted Health, you'll have the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their loved ones. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and medical conditions, adjusting care plans as needed Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide emotional support to patients and families Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Participate in unit meetings, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and policy development Adhere to Vetted Health's policies, procedures, and standards of care Requirements and Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: Current RN licensure in the state of California or eligible for licensure 2 years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or similar setting Basic Life Support (BLS) certification National and state certification in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) or willingness to obtain Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Commitment to ongoing education and professional development What We Offer: Competitive Compensation and Benefits: $2,234 per week gross pay, with $1,564 in wages and $670 in stipend Quick payments through direct deposit, paid weekly Generous medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) matching program with a sliding scale match up to 4% Licensure reimbursement Referral bonus program 24/7 support Guaranteed hours Assistance with travel and planning Employee discount program Competitive bonuses Work Environment and Culture: Opportunity to work with a talented and supportive team of healthcare professionals Dynamic and fast-paced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment Commitment to transparency, growth, and excellence Stable and growing company with a strong vision for the future Why Choose Vetted Health?
