Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management.and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as requiredOverviewKelemen 8 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, illnesses and disease processes. North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges.Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room.There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family.Education RequirementsGraduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing License/Certification RequirementsCurrent NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse);Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e., ACLS, NALS, PALS)
