Summary:CareXM is seeking a remote Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours telephone triage care to patients and caregivers of hospice and home health partners. This is a flexible position that offers the opportunity to work from home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Responsibilities:Provide fast access to quality, compassionate after-hours RN telephone triage care to patients and caregivers of hospice and home health partnersCommunicate with empathy and understanding, especially when callers are experiencing a difficult situationAssess patient needs and provide appropriate care instructionsCoordinate care with other members of the healthcare teamDocument patient care in the electronic health record (EHR)Qualifications:RN license in a compact state (in good standing)4+ years of clinical nursing experience required. Experience in home health, palliative, med-surg, geriatrics, ICU, ER, and/or hospice care is preferred but not requiredEnglish fluency is required. Spanish is a plusProficiency with computers and telecommunications equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsMust be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screeningMust be able to meet California RN Required Prerequisites for RN Examination and Endorsements as outlined here: https://www.rn.ca.gov/status.shtmlPersonal Computer Requirements: You will use your Personal Computer to work.
