Gastroenterology of the Rockies is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team. This position focuses on providing telemedicine-based nutrition counseling for patients with a wide variety of gastrointestinal and metabolic conditions. About the Position Gastroenterology of the Rockies is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team. This position focuses on providing telemedicine-based nutrition counseling for patients with a wide variety of gastrointestinal and metabolic conditions. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient education, comfortable delivering care via telehealth, and skilled at translating complex nutrition science into practical guidance patients can implement in their daily lives. Responsibilities Provide medical nutrition therapy via telemedicine to patients with gastrointestinal and related conditions. Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans. Educate patients on dietary strategies to manage GI conditions such as IBS, IBD, GERD, fatty liver disease, celiac disease, and other digestive disorders. Document all patient encounters thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR) with accurate coding and appropriate billing. Collaborate with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other staff to support coordinated patient care. Provide nutrition education to clinical staff and providers on GI-related dietary management. Develop or assist with patient education materials and nutrition resources as needed. Stay current with evidence-based practices in gastrointestinal nutrition. Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential. Experience providing medical nutrition therapy . Experience with telemedicine visits preferred. Strong communication and patient education skills. Ability to document thoroughly in an EHR with appropriate coding . Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team. Preferred Experience Experience managing patients with gastrointestinal conditions . Familiarity with GI-focused dietary approaches such as low FODMAP diets, elimination diets, and nutrition therapy for liver disease .
