Regional Sales Manager, California

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a remote Regional Sales Manager to join our sales leadership team for our California region. The ideal candidate understands the changing K-12 landscape and has experience in educational technology. We're looking for a creative manager with the ability to lead and inspire a sales team while handling IXL's rapid growth. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive growth and shape the future of both the IXL and Rosetta Stone K-12 platforms. This is a full-time remote position for candidates located in California.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGProvide leadership to a highly skilled team of sales consultants Develop a keen understanding of K-12 customer needs and values Provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching throughout the sales process with your expert background in K-12 educational technology salesTrack, forecast, budget, and monitor sales pipelineMeet sales goals on a consistent basisWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORBA/BS degree in an Education related field, or other relevant fieldEducational Technology Sales backgroundComplete understanding of the K-12 market5+ years of experience in salesSales leadership and management experiencePassion for bringing technology into the classroom Familiarity with Web-based technologies Previous direct classroom experience highly preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlinesAbility to apply energy and creativity to meeting sales goalsOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 to $150,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.
