Regional Sales Manager

Opengear designs and manufactures products for data center and remote site management. We are a rapidly growing supplier of sophisticated data center, network and remote site management products. Our customers include tech unicorns and Fortune 100 companies. We are the leading supplier of out-of-band solutions for IT infrastructure management and are actively exploring new solutions for hyper-scale data center deployment and management. We are a global company with offices in Brisbane Australia, Sandy Utah and Edison NJ.

Position
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious sales professional to support and grow our channel business across Australia and New Zealand.

What We Offer
This is a development-focused role suited to someone who is eager to learn, build relationships, and grow into a high-performing sales professional. The role is primarily telesales-driven, with a strong focus on enabling and supporting channel partners.
You will work closely with partners to build confidence in our solutions, strengthen relationships, and help drive opportunities.

What You Will Do

Build and develop strong relationships with channel partners across Australia and New Zealand
Engage partners regularly via phone and virtual meetings to drive activity and pipeline
Support partners in identifying and progressing new business opportunities
Help partners understand and confidently position Opengear solutions
Act as a key point of contact for partner communication and day-to-day support
Collaborate with Sales Engineers to support technical discussions and customer opportunities
Maintain and update pipeline, partner activity, and account information in CRM
Identify new potential partners and support onboarding and relationship development
Contribute to partner engagement initiatives, campaigns, and follow-ups
Travel occasionally to strengthen new and existing partner relationships


Who You Are and What You Bring

Early experience in sales, customer service, or a customer-facing role (B2B preferred)
Strong communication skills and confidence in phone-based engagement
A proactive, “hungry” mindset with a desire to learn and grow in sales
Ability to build trust and long-term relationships
Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple activities
A team player who collaborates well with internal stakeholders


Desired but Not Required

Exposure to channel sales or partner-driven environments
Interest in technology, networking, or IT infrastructure
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
