Regional Sales Coordinator

The Regional Sales Coordinator will provide administrative and sales support for the Individual Insurance sales team in Western Canada, ensuring the smooth operation of sales initiatives and activities.ResponsibilitiesAssist in first level administration and review of regional expense submissions (examples: travel and entertainment, advisor spend) to ensure corporate expense and travel guidelines are being followedTrack and manage expenses against budget and flag any expenses approaching budget or any instances where submissions have exceeded corporate guidelinesEnsure timely review and approval of expenses by sales leaderProcess invoices to ensure prompt payment to vendor(s)Work closely with applicable team members to effectively plan and successfully execute both advisor facing events (educational and business promotional events/activities) and internal team meetingsSource and plan meeting venue and management of event budgetLiase with venue contacts to ensure all logistics and details are understood and executed as requestedManage logistics of scheduling and supporting virtual meetings and webinarsCreate, distribute and manage all invitations to meeting and eventsCoordinate and monitor prompt distribution of marketing materials and sales aids as requested by sales teamAssist in planning and organizing activities such as entertainment and dinner eventsHandle all catering and meal requirementsPrepare leader requested presentationsManage all aspects of the CE credit process from submission to deliveryManage end to end post event follow up process, including: creating and deploying a post event survey, return on investment sales reporting for attendees, creation of a Create and distribute surveys using the current survey tool to solicit feedback from advisors and or internal team members on eventsRun requested reports for sales leaders and/or sales team members using Salesforce and MS Power BI and provide insights and analysis of data as requiredBecome a subject matter expert when new sales team tools and technology are launched and ensure sales team are familiar and comfortable in using toolsCreate and deploy mass emails on behalf of your wholesalers and Sales LeaderCreate and deploy Seismic 'Digital Sales Rooms' for follow-up with marketing collateralHandle requests from sales leader and/or sales team members with respect to advisor gift requestsWork with head office sales leadership on national initiatives as requiredTake a lead role in identifying team gaps in reporting and bring forward suggestions for enhanced self-serve report opportunitiesManagement of sales leaderβs calendar (sending out invites, responding to invites)Travel arrangements for sales leader (flights, hotels, car rentals, etc)Onboarding/offboarding new team members including appropriate access, equipmentEnsure team distribution lists are kept updatedHandle all incoming and outgoing mail and courier needsSkillsPost secondary education is requiredExperience and understanding of the life insurance business and different products is an assetStrong skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power BI), Salesforce.com, including Salesforce Marketing CloudFast learner and self-starter, with ability to take initiative to work proactivelyAbility to learn new technologies quickly and become a subject matter expert for sales team membersStrong organizational, time management and priority setting skills in order to meet tight deadlinesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to investigate problems without supervisionDemonstrated ability to multi-task, show initiative, and anticipate needs in a proactive mannerStrong verbal communication and business writing skillsAbility to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailFlexible and adaptable when dealing with change, including changing priorities and tight deadlinesAble to exercise discretion and tact in situations involving sensitive and confidential informationBenefitsHealth, dental, mental health, vision, short- and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance coverage, adoption/surrogacy and wellness benefits, and employee/family assistance plansVarious retirement savings plans (including pension and a global share ownership plan with employer matching contributions)Financial education and counseling resourcesGenerous paid time off program in Canada includes holidays, vacation, personal, and sick daysFull range of statutory leaves of absenceCompany OverviewManulife is a leading international financial services group that helps people make their decisions easier and lives better.
