About the Role: In assigned sales region, the Regional Sales Consultant networks with benefit brokers and employers to identify employer group prospects interested in worksite LTC solutions for their employees. Core Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Client Acquisition: Cold calling, lead research, and networking to find potential clients. Product Presentation: Presenting LTC products and services to potential clients. Recommendation: Suggesting suitable LTC solutions tailored to client needs. Education: Educating prospects about LTC insurance. Communication: Engaging with clients via email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person meetings. Relationship Building: Establishing positive relationships with clients. Sales Preparation: Creating own proposals, preparing quotes, sales presentations, and updating CRM tools. Shadows seasoned consultants to learn best practices and strategies. Licensing: Obtaining a producer license within 3 months after hire and maintaining state insurance licensing and continuing education for LTC products. Skills Required: BA/BS degree required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, time management, and adaptability. Experience in networking, developing leads, and researching potential clients. Ability to obtain a producer’s license within 3 months after hire and continuing education for LTC products. This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
