Regional Respiratory Therapist

Job Description • Receive and follow schedules/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures. • Adhere to the established policies and procedures of the facilities to which the respiratory care practitioner is assigned. • Perform focused interviews to identify specific patients’ needs. • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition. • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential diagnoses. • Plan for outcomes of care for assigned patients. • Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies. • Provide respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic services as ordered by physicians. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans as necessary. • Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and treatments. • Maintain accurate and complete patient records. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
