Regional Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a leading e-commerce fulfillment company, is looking for a highly organized and proactive Regional Logistics Coordinator to join their fully remote operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods across a designated region, supporting our vast network of distribution centers and delivery partners. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of regional transportation, including route planning, carrier management, freight optimization, and real-time tracking of shipments. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management principles, and experience with transportation management systems (TMS). You will work closely with warehouse managers, delivery drivers, and customer service representatives to resolve any logistical issues that may arise, ensuring smooth operations and high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include analyzing shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiating rates with carriers, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and preparing performance reports. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound logistics operations for the assigned region. Optimize transportation routes and modes to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Manage relationships with carriers and negotiate freight rates. Monitor shipments in real-time and proactively address any delays or disruptions. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards. Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes. Communicate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and external partners. Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and key metrics. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain operations. Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics software. Strong understanding of freight management, carrier relations, and route optimization. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote setting.
