Overview:The Regional Director of Private Events Sales will oversee the strategic growth, operational excellence, and client satisfaction across multiple private club properties. This position is responsible for driving revenue from private events, leading sales strategies, and ensuring the seamless execution of all private events. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a proven record in private events sales and operational management, who excels in building relationships, inspiring teams, and delivering exceptional member/guest experiences.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and execute regional private events sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.Lead, mentor, and motivate private events sales and event teams across multiple properties to ensure alignment with brand standards and service excellence.Manage all operational aspects of private events, including event planning, logistics, and execution, ensuring high-quality delivery for clients.Build and maintain strong relationships with members, clients, and stakeholders to drive repeat and referral business.Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.Partner with club leadership to optimize resources, streamline processes, and enhance the overall private events experience.Ensure all events comply with budget and service standards.Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to executive leadership.Assist in pre-opening due diligence and the launch of new sites
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in private events sales and operations, with at least 3 years in a multi-unit leadership role.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and operational excellence.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in event management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel regularly and work flexible hours as needed to support events and teams.
