Recruiting Specialist

IXL Learning is the country's largest EdTech company, and they are seeking a motivated Recruiting Specialist to join their team. In this junior level role, you will focus on the vital early stages of the hiring process, reviewing applications and collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to identify top candidates. Responsibilities Review inbound applications and evaluate qualifications against defined criteria to help identify top candidates Participate in kickoff meetings with recruiters and hiring managers to align on ideal profiles and screening criteria Periodically assist with initial candidate phone screens to assess candidate skills, experience and culture fit Collaborate with recruiting team members and hiring managers to understand evolving business needs and continue to calibrate on candidate profiles Provide a seamless and efficient candidate experience that results in a positive impression of IXL Learning, regardless of the outcome Maintain accurate records in Greenhouse ATS Skills Bachelor's degree required 1-2 years of relevant recruiting experience Experience with screening candidate resumes and assessing skills and qualifications Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Experience with Greenhouse or other ATS, Google Suite Passionate about education and technology Experience in conducting qualifying phone screens is a plus Company Overview At IXL Learning, we are passionate about improving learning for all.
