About Us: We are a small, dedicated law firm representing plaintiffs in complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Our team values professionalism, compassion, and clear communication with clients. We’re looking for a receptionist who will be the first voice our clients hear—someone friendly, organized, and reliable. Position Overview: The Receptionist will answer and direct incoming calls, take detailed messages, and provide a warm, professional first impression for clients and potential clients. This is a remote position, but punctuality, reliability, and professionalism are essential. Key Responsibilities: • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally during business hours • Greet callers with warmth and empathy, especially clients in distress • Take accurate messages and promptly forward them to the appropriate team member • Route calls to attorneys or staff as needed • Maintain confidentiality in all client communications • Provide basic information about the firm and our practice areas • Assist with scheduling calls or meetings as directed • Log calls and messages in the firm’s system Qualifications: • Prior experience as a receptionist, call center representative, 911 or crisis call center or similar role preferred • Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, pleasant phone voice • Excellent listening skills and ability to take accurate notes/messages • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure • Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet workspace • Proficiency with phone systems and basic computer applications (email, calendars, messaging platforms) • Commitment to punctuality and consistent availability during scheduled hours Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your relevant experience and availability.
