Real Estate Paralegal (Georgia Transactions) - Contract Remote
About Us We are a small, boutique-style company that provides back-office paralegal support to multiple closing attorneys throughout Georgia. Our focus is on delivering professional, efficient, and detail-oriented assistance in real estate transactions from start to finish. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Contract Remote Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and well-versed in the residential and/or commercial closing process from beginning to end. This is a fully remote, contract position with set working hours (not flexible). Responsibilities • Assist attorneys with all aspects of the real estate closing process, including preparation, review, and finalization of documents. • Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth closings. • Manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy. • Utilize closing software systems to prepare settlement statements, track progress, and manage orders. • Ensure compliance with Georgia real estate law, firm policies, and closing procedures. Qualifications • 2–3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal or in a related closing/settlement role. • Strong knowledge of the closing process from contract to post-closing. • Proficiency with real estate closing software; familiarity with Qualia and SoftPro is most important. Experience with RamQuest, ResWare, and LandTech is a plus. • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based platforms. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
