Headquartered in Los Angeles, Shrimpton Agency is a boutique web first digital agency working with e-commerce brands, health and wellness, beauty, fashion and apparel, hotels and hospitality and high profile clients in the US, UK and global markets. We seek a fullstack developer for full-time hire to manage our retainer Shopify clients. Previous agency experience and/or experience in a fast paced, multi-project environment is a must, you will be working on or around Los Angeles timezone, remotely. Strong communication skills are required as you'll be client facing, taking notes and creating actionable plans. Strong Shopify theme development experience including Shopify Plus. Excellent knowledge of accessibility, SEO and performance standards and how to implement them. Strong experience with Shopify’s ecommerce backend features, ie. store configuration shipping settings, Shopify markets, multi-language, B2B, etc. Highly organized and experienced using PM tools to manage your workflow. Strong attention to design detail, you will need good FIGMA UI/UX skills and good art-working skills with Adobe CS and other UI design platforms, ie. Sketch, Adobe XD. Strong time management skills and ability to estimate and deliver work on time and to the standards required. Willingness to learn and contribute to company wide processes and standards, a team player focused on the success of the project. Keen interest and experience with web animations and interactive libraries, such as canvas, animated SVG, parallax, CSS animations, etc. Other tech we use and you should have exposure to includes, but not limited to: Shopify theme development using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS best practice. Headless and hosted CMS (eg. Strapi, Storyblock, Craft, Wordpress) Node.js AWS (EC2, S3) Git + Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket DNS configuration Asana / Monday.com / Clickup or similar PM tools You MUST have a portfolio of websites that are live for us to look at (must include Shopify themes) You MUST have some public GITHUB repos for us to look at (or be prepared to share private repos with us).
