React Native Developer for new Expense Tracking App!
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Senior React Native Developer to lead the build-out of a new mobile application. This is an opportunity to join an innovative and responsive technical team in launching a new, feature-rich product. About the Project This application is a group expense management solution, conceptually blending the real-time, collaborative nature of a platform like Slack with the financial tracking capabilities of Splitwise. Project Status: Design and infrastructure are complete. Design: Comprehensive Figma design files are finalized. Backend: The database and REST APIs are fully developed and ready for integration. Deliverable: Successful deployment of the fully functional application to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Required Qualifications & Experience Proven, senior-level experience in React Native development. Expertise in consuming and integrating with RESTful APIs. A strong commitment to detail, quality, and rigorous testing. Familiarity with industry-standard development and collaboration tools (see below). Our Development Environment and Expectations We operate in a highly agile, collaborative, and professional manner, requiring the same standard from our partners. All tasks are meticulously documented in Jira tickets. Daily communication and quick queries are handled via Slack. Source Control: Git/GitHub = Daily commits of code to our GitHub repository are a non-negotiable requirement. Agile Practice: Daily Standups - Participation in daily standup meetings via Zoom/Upwork is mandatory to maintain rapid development pace. Availability/Overlap; We are located in the UTC - 4:00 (US East) time zone. A minimum daily availability overlap until 10:30 AM EST is required for effective collaboration and agile execution.
