Job Description: Responsibilities include the following: special notifications, taking and transcribing committee meeting minutes; assembling, copying and distributing committee packets; creates and monitors policy changes; maintaining spreadsheets for statistical analysis, input data and providing general clerical support for the Director of Radiology. Performs other administrative assistant duties as assigned. SHIFT & SCHEDULE: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Responsible for taking and transcribing committee meeting minutes; assembling, copying and distributing committee packets. Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information. Maintain, create, and analyze statistical graphs of modality utilization. Demonstrates proficient working knowledge of computer software programs databases, data analysis systems, microcomputer spreadsheet and graphics software, web-based programs/navigation. Able to use (or willing to learn) computer software applications; such as MS Office programs/Outlook, Policy Tech, Cater Trax, and Radiology Information and PAC Systems. Able to critically think to independently solve various problems or understand when guidance is needed. Able to work remotely with minimal supervision; completing tasks on time. Contributes to the organization and efficiency of the department; able to float to other areas, as needed. Clearly collaborates and communicates in verbal and written forms with Director about projects. Works and clears off Special Notification/ER Discrepancy list; understanding urgency in communication abnormal findings to the medical providers. Obtains and maintains information about each imaging modality. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. College work is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs Medical Terminologist PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The individual must be able to: Ø Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff. The individual must use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits.
