Quranic Arabic Tutor — Remote (Part-time)

Novastar Prep is seeking a dedicated Quranic Arabic Tutor to work 1:1 online with an adult learner in a supportive, personalized environment. Whether you’re an experienced educator or have a strong academic background in Arabic, this role lets you teach language skills that deepen understanding and fluency. Subject Focus: Quranic Arabic Tutoring • Teach language skills relevant to Quranic Arabic: reading fluency in Arabic script, grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension in classical/formal Arabic. • Tailor lessons to adult learning goals and pace. • Use digital materials and resources when appropriate. Who We’re Looking For • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Arabic, Linguistics, Islamic Studies, Education, or equivalent experience. • Experience: 1+ year of teaching or tutoring experience (experience with adult learners preferred). • Communication: Clear, patient, and professional communication skills. • Tech & Workspace: Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet workspace, and basic familiarity with video-conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.). • Commitment: Willingness to commit for at least one semester. • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
