Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Student Support Specialist to join our growing team. As a Student Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our students, providing exceptional support and guidance primarily in the areas of bookkeeping/accounting concepts and QuickBooks Online. Your role will involve resolving student inquiries, providing training, coaching, technical assistance, and ensuring overall student satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Respond to student inquiries and provide assistance via email, our Facebook group, and on weekly Zoom coaching calls
Troubleshoot and resolve student issues related to bookkeeping/accounting, QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QBO Payroll
Utilize accounting and bookkeeping knowledge to address student questions and concerns effectively
Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards students at all times
Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex student issues
Actively contribute to the improvement of our student support processes and procedures
Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QBO Payroll
Strong accounting/bookkeeping background
Exceptional written communication skills
Strong technology skills, including proficiency in using Chrome, Gmail, Zoom, Loom, etc.
Positive attitude and passion for helping others
Proven problem-solving abilities
Availability to work weekends
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer support
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT)
