Quickbooks Online Bookkeeper (Part-Time)
Freelance Bookkeeper - Open to Hybrid/Remote - Immediate Hire - Upper East Side, NYC
Part-time Quickbooks Online Bookkeeper to help manage personal & business expenses for a Personal, Art & Real Estate, Podcaster, Entrepreneur. Must be able to start immediately to reconcile 2024.
Ā *Responsibilities**
Ā Track expenses, budget, pay taxes, cash flow, receipts, personal and business accounts.
Ā Reconcile QBO, & pay bills, (via bank accounts, Online, ACH, Credit Cards, Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, Apple Pay)
Ā Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly documented and classified. Dispute any over charges with Credit Card Companies, ETC.
Ā Provide monthly and a yearly P/L and breakdown of Expenses by Category
Ā Monitor accounts payable and receivable
Ā Ensure bills are paid and catch and correct overcharges and review venmo, paypal, zelle
Ā Ensure necessary forms (i.e 1099, W-9) is sent to contractors
Ā *Qualifications:**
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or a related role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software Quickbooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, call venders about charges and cancel services/cards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Must provide at least 2 references sent by email when we meet.

Ā Virtually or In Office - One 1- 2 partial days / month and misc hours.
