Quickbooks Bookkeeper
We are a growing tutoring company based in New Jersey, looking for a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to support our ongoing financial operations.
Requirements:
Certified in QuickBooks Online (QuickBooks ProAdvisor or equivalent strongly preferred)
Proven experience managing bookkeeping for small businesses (service-based preferred)
Strong understanding of reconciliations, invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting
Ability to keep books clean, accurate, and audit-ready
Nice to Have:
Experience with Teachworks (or similar tutoring / scheduling platforms)
Familiarity with tutoring, education services, or multi-instructor businesses
Scope of Work:
Monthly bookkeeping and account reconciliation
Review and cleanup of existing QuickBooks records (if needed)
Ongoing financial reporting (P&L, cash flow, etc.)
Coordination with management on any discrepancies or improvements
Additional Details:
Must be reliable, responsive, and proactive
Preference for candidates familiar with U.S.-based businesses and NJ requirements
